Juliet Anammah is Chairwoman Jumia Nigeria and the Jumia Group Chief Sustainability officer. She pioneered ESG strategy and implementation at the company and Jumia became the first African eCommerce company to publish a sustainability report in 2022. Additionally, she:

As CEO of Jumia Nigeria from 2015 to 2020, she transitioned the company from an online retailer to an integrated digital platform comprising a Marketplace, Logistics and Payments culminating in the Group’s IPO on the NYSE. Jumia is Africa’s first Tech start-up to be listed on the NYSE.
Prior to Jumia she was the Managing Director of Accenture’s West African Consumer Goods, Retail and Transportation consulting practice – a practice she built from scratch and managed its growth to the largest contributor in sales and controllable income in the region.
She has expertise in global trends analysis, operating model design and execution, and building collaborative partnerships. Her Consumer Goods experience spans over eighteen years managing design and implementing strategic roadmaps that improve competitive positioning and financial performance.
Juliet is also an advisor and non-executive board member of several entities including publicly listed companies.
Juliet is a qualified Pharmacist with an MBA in Finance and is an alum of Wharton College Business school.
