Hilde Van Criekinge
Hilde spent most of her career at IKEA, Ingka group. Half of her time she was driving retail operations as Store Manager, Customer Experience Manager and Marketing Manager, meeting customers, and doing her best to meet their expectations daily. With this solid retail knowledge, Hilde oriented her career towards communications. She worked in several countries where she built the Communication Strategy for those markets to strongly position IKEA as a truly meaningful & trusted brand. Hilde developed a 360 brand positioning campaign on Sustainability during COP21 in France, created an impactful movement on Equality in South East Europe during her 4 years there, and put IKEA on the map with an out-of-the-box event during Paris Fashion Week to highlight the importance of life at home.
This is a topic Hilde is very passionate about. She is driven by the IKEA values and always advocates for building a purpose led brand, making a beautiful home accessible for the many.
