Olaf Koch, the former CEO of giant food wholesaler, Metro Group, came to realise that the food system is unsustainable and is causing increasing challenges, while at the same time the number and variety of sustainable and healthy innovations are increasing rapidly. Since leaving Metro he has set up a special investment fund to back innovators that point towards a more sustainable and healthier food system.
